Community Speaking & Webinar and Workshop Facilitation
Brotha KD enthusiastically collaborates with mental health practitioners, social work professionals, activists and advocates, researchers, scholars, and any stewards of justice, equity, diversity, and interrelatedness - including media personnel: radio personalities, podcasters, editors, and interviewers centering the pursuit of improving the health, wellness, and welfare of people of African descendants.
He is also incredibly dedicated to delivering evocative, impactful, thought-provoking, and soul-serving facilitative education processes - both virtually and in-person.
Community Healing Conversations
Brotha KD possesses the empathy, attuned care, intersubjective fluidity, and calm demeanor to co-create safe, brave, and non-judgmental spaces that bring together communalism, relationality, pain, suffering, hope, and joy. In this restorative and rejuvenating community environment, the Black, African, and African diasporan experiences and perspectives are what matter the most. We welcome and invite discursive conversations, personal narratives, storytelling, contemplation, and stillness, as well as all other modes of cultural expression.
Consultation & Technical Support/Advice
As a community, Black and African-centered facilitator of healing, Brotha KD offers expertise, scholarly insights, experiential and practical knowledge, with moral-ethical grounding to community-based organizations and grassroots movements, offices, and agencies on strategic initiatives, programs, policies, and practices in alignment with improving the health, wellness, and welfare of people of African descent.
Liberation-centric Program Support
The Liberation Social Work™ approach is anchored by two community-centered, dignity-affirming, humanity-enriching programs for delivery in virtual or in-person community settings: The Soul Bro. Support Circle for Black male adolescents and adults, and Soul-to-Soul Dialogue for multiethnic, multigenerational, and intergenerational Black, African, and African diasporan individuals, regardless of gender or sexual identity.
Moreover, for those who have their own vision for program development, Brotha KD can help identify objectives, scope, and outcomes, as well as structure the design, outline, and develop relevant content, institute feedback, evaluate processes, and provide any necessary implementation support.
